Dark Sky International Announces Templates and User Guides for State Statutes and Municipal Ordinances!

On its website, Dark Sky International now has templates and user guides for state statutes and municipal ordinances. Training videos are available and DSI will provide a review process for those that want to prepare statutes and ordinances.  DSI has also announced a formal certification program for enacted statutes and ordinances.

Many of you have been waiting patiently for these resources. The templates and user guides follow the Five Principles of Responsible Outdoor Lighting at Night. The Chicago Chapter is also ready to help. The Chicago Chapter recently helped to draft and support the new Illinois responsible outdoor lighting statute.
