Nature in the Dark of Night
What is so special about a deep, dark night sky? Together, International Dark-sky Association delegate Adam Kreuzer and Environmental Education Manager Barb McKittrick will explain what makes dark skies so important to wildlife and people, and then provide practical tips for us all to fight light pollution and help preserve dark skies. We'll then head out to experience the joys of a trail hike after dark, peeking into the nighttime lives of local animals and plants while learning about nocturnal ecology.
