Discover the value of dark skies on this guided hike at The Morton Arboretum. Protecting the night sky from light pollution is critical for wildlife and people alike. Local Dark Sky Association delegate Adam Kreuzer will share what makes dark skies so important and what we can do to help. Then head out onto the trails in small groups for a guided hike with a naturalist. Look for signs of wildlife, and learn what the plants and animals of local natural areas are up to at night. This program will fill you with inspiration and awe and provide practical ways you can make a difference.
